Buddha Cafe

Meals and service at Buddha Cafe of Atitlan Eco Retreat

We serve breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks.

Breakfast and lunch are included with all of our retreats.

Our menu changes according to season and produce availability. We are as much as possible farm to table, from our gardens as well as local farmers.

Our meals are vegetarian, delicious, hearty and rich. Seasonal salads and garden vegetables come with the meals.

The menu is designed by a chef and nutrition consultant (graduate of the Natural Gourmet Institute in NYC), as well as the Global College of Health and Nutrition.

The menu is balanced between breakfast and lunch. We recommend you book both for complete nutrition needs.

Snacks and drinks include homemade muffins, homemade kombucha and ginger beer, coffee, herbal tea, and more.

Our menu may change to support a perfect experience

Our food Philosophy

Every meal is made with seasonal, local ingredients. Much of the food grows in our gardens: coffee, bananas, avocados, lettuce, herbs, and other fruits and vegetables. Our oatmeal is packed with chia seeds, flax seeds, and other super foods. When possible, peanut butter, jam, and lightly fermented sauerkraut are homemade on site.
